There are several types of education benefits that can be used at UW-Madison, and below you’ll find options for veterans, current service members, and dependents. Some are federally administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and others are administered by the state of Wisconsin. They have various eligibility requirements and provide different forms of assistance.
If you’re not sure where to begin, we recommend taking our benefit eligibility survey.
