A black and white montage of veterans photos

Badger Veterans Directory

The UW–Madison campus is rich with military history, but those who served are underrepresented in those stories. Our goal is to bring visibility to Badger veterans and service members. We share military service stories while celebrating the people who wear the uniform.

University Veteran Services created and annually ran The Badger Veteran Photo Project. As we have gathered stories over the years, the Badger Veteran Photo Project is evolving into the Badger Veterans Directory. We encourage you to explore our directory to learn more about our Badger Veterans and get to know the people behind the uniform.

Submissions are open year-round to all UW–Madison students, faculty, staff, and alumni who served in the U.S. military for any length of time. We look forward to receiving and sharing your stories.
