Asa Nett

I served 6 years in the United States Navy. While in service I underwent a rigorous training program to qualify as an Electrician’s Mate Nuclear (EMN). I spent 4 years of my service overseas in Japan onboard the USS Ronald Reagan CVN-76. While there I developed a deep love for the Japanese people and culture. In order to become fluent in Japanese, I intend to return to Japan under a study abroad program through UW Madison. I’m working each day at Madison to continue improving my technical skills and understanding of different cultures. I enjoy hiking, traveling the world, and meeting new people! I’m looking forward to continuing my college experience at UW Madison!
