Sean Jackett

I joined the Army out of high school in 2010 as a linguist. I served on active duty for five years, during which I learned the Dari language and deployed to Afghanistan. After leaving active duty, I returned to Wisconsin and began my undergraduate degree at UW while serving in the Wisconsin National Guard. During my time with the National Guard, I assisted in COVID response efforts and provided language support to the resettlement of Afghans in the United States. I graduated UW with my BS in 2019 and again in 2020 with a graduate degree. I am currently working as a Program and Policy Analyst for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
