Ryan Hietpas

I was born and raised in Wisconsin and am proud to be a part of the University of Wisconsin -Madison community. I have lived in Madison for the past 15 years and work in business continuity and corporate crisis management. I am a graduate student in the Professional MBA program at the Wisconsin School of Business. I served in the United States Navy from 2000 to 2006. As communications supervisor, I worked aboard the USS Kentucky, a ballistic missile submarine. During this time, I deployed seven times and traveled over 100,000 miles underwater, including a trip around South America.
