Jim Gingras

Lt Col (ret) Jim Gingras (USAF) and his wife Anna grew up in Wisconsin before he left for the Air Force Academy, and they reconnected and married shortly after his graduation in 2001. Serving in six overseas tours, Jim was an Air Force civil engineer and military diplomat (Foreign Area Officer) in bases and embassies worldwide. Together, they were honored to represent the United States in various capacities. Their final assignment on active duty brought them back to the U.S. Air Force Academy where he taught political science to cadets and tomorrow’s future leaders. Currently, Jim is a full-time Ph.D. student studying the NATO alliance and how we can better assess alliance allegiance. Together, they launched a healthy vending company to help give back to the local community. Both are thrilled to be in Wisconsin again with family and friends. They also enjoy volunteering and helping fellow veterans! On Wisconsin!
