Originally from Appleton, Craig joined the Wisconsin Army National Guard in 1990 as a traditional guardsman. After graduating from UW-Oshkosh, he worked in video production until going on Active Duty with the Guard in 2002. Craig Served a total of 33 years with 21 of that being full-time. He deployed twice is support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and supported numerous domestic operations from storm clean up, flood response and civil unrest. He retired from the Guard in 2023 and joined Upham Woods full-time June of 2023.
