Brian Bieniek

Brian served from 1990-1994 in the U.S. Army with 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment and deployed in support of Operation Desert Storm. He then reenlisted into the Wisconsin National Guard while attending UW-Madison from 1995-1999.  After graduating from UW, he accepted an active-duty position within the Wisconsin National Guard and continued serving in various units in the 32nd Infantry Brigade, 64th Troop Command, and 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade until his retirement in 2020.  Brian served in various leadership positions over the years from Team Leader up to Battalion Command Sergeant Major, as well as other planning, training, and operations roles.  Brian deployed overseas twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2005 and 2009) and trained in multiple other countries around the world. While in the National Guard, Brian assisted with responses to multiple floodings, winter storms, and the initial COVID outbreak.  Brian now works for the State of Wisconsin in the continuity, risk management, and emergency management fields.
